I started the Networking Series as part of my DIY Residency. Exploring new ways of applying enamel to recycled glass, I found the resulting texture so earth-like. Yet there were these spots that were interconnected – connected to each other, connected back to the rugged landscape of Earth. Today, satellites and towers bring us 4G and 5G communication. Maybe the future is in 7.5G?
Description
Artwork is approximately 8×8 – permanently mounted to a cradled wood canvas. The included white frame is about 10.5″ square on the outside dimensions and an inch deep. Wired for easy hanging once in it’s permanent home.
