Purple Reign is created from a quilted horse that was cast into a plaster mold, with an alicorn carved into the plaster in reverse. The alicorn has mixed metal foil fused to the cast glass.

Jim created the beautiful forest stand for Purple Reign, and hand-made lampwork glass mushrooms were added to the forest floor.
